Just wondering if anyone has rented a place to this organisation, which from their website assists in providing affordable/subsidised housing. They have put in an offer at $30 above my asking rent for my 1 bed apartment in the Inner West NSW. My PM says she has had bad experiences in the past and recommends passing. Having both my parents grow up in housing commission, I am inclined to give it a go. Any experiences, good or bad or somewhere in between?

    Thanks
    JF

What are their leasing conditions? So it won't really be a residential lease - more like a commercial lease agreement...?

Not with this organisation, but I have rented to a similar org in Brisbane. They initially sign the lease, and the tenant then signs the next term. I have been quite happy with them

I have a friend who lives in a Bridge house, and I enquired myself, They house people on a waiting list, and you still have a managing agent, the tenant has a case worker and you still do the repairs... I hope this helps!
    cheers
