    Hi all

What are the options with brick veneer?

A brick veneer place in our street was recently torn down and clearly had asbestos

Can you just paint over the top? Just wondering about the options

If you are talking about what you can do to the bricks then there is usually 2 options.

    Option 1 - is cement/ acrylic render

Option 2 - is to bag the brickwork, this is where all the mortar joins are filled in with sand and cement and then painted to any colour you desire and you can still see the shape of the brick.

Am asking options for improving exterior of a home that is brick veneer (not brick)

Just interested, don't own this type of property myself

    Brick veneer is brick.

Do you mean cladding or fibro exterior? If so, option one brian mentioned above
