looks like Brexit will happen .

probably will be a rebound in economy , share market due to uncertainty being resolved . Also talk of china US resolution .

Maybe a healthy Santa Rally which occurs most years

Either way removes the endless deadlock and inaction. The UK economy must be struggling.

Their own doing afaic. They should have never left - Cameron stuff that up by thinking that the population weren't xenophobic rightwing colonialists dreaming of a "better times". FWIW Australians aren't much better.

I'm no expert on Brexit, but it appears to me The People voted for Brexit in a Referendum, so it should happen. Clearly the Parliament are trying to subvert the Democratic Vote of the people, and have stalled it for ages; because they know better?
If they knew better, and being in the U.N was so great; why was there ever any need for a Brexit vote at all?
Who would want their Country to be governed by a mob of un-Elected bureaucrats in another Country - like the U.N? Aus should exit too.

I think you mean EU, which is what the UK is exiting not the UN.

Are we part of the EU?

Not quite the same, but a question the Scots might now be asking given that in the referendum they voted to stay in the EC and have now returned 48 Scottish Nationalist MPs out of 59 Scottish seats, six only being held by the Conservatives (and only 1 by Labour!).

Note that this thread is in the Sharemarket News & Analysis forum - discussions which are not about how Brexit (and the recent election, which came about because of Brexit) will affect the markets are off topic and will be deleted.

the people who voted want Brexit finished and the pound and the banks which i have a small interest in go back to the prior value..It's not going to happen overnight going by the pound vs the greenback and the dow but this is the first step ..

I have a list in front of me of some of the top movers within the banking equities set-up linked and unlinked in the UK from 2006 going backwards and going between the pullbacks 2007 the beginning of the sub prime 2008 and the total collapse of many financials and banking systems and every other downtrend momentum pre brexit and now that's why never rely on people's opinions in forums and don't rely on anyone else ,verify and do your own diligence yourself..But some of those listed have pre brexit margins 30 percent higher then they are now thanks Brexit..
