BPay Share Purchase Option

    A random idea that I had that I don’t think I’ve seen any brokers offer. Say you had an option to trigger a share purchase via a Bpay payment. The broker nominates the reference number which identifies your trading account, which stock, and possibly what time of day your trade is placed.

    Then you could set up scheduled periodic share purchases - ultimate dollar cost averaging, set and forget. Would take away one of the advantages that managed funds have over ETFs,

    Good idea or rubbish? Anyone know of anything like this for share purchases?
