That sounds amazing. I don't deal with apartments or stratas, but is there any risk of the owners corp being a pain to deal with for renos like this?

I read minutes going back quite a bit and nothing major I noticed . Being on the ground floor does eliminate some issues eg noise to apartments before with flooring. Usually in my experience if you do the right thing by strata and get it all approved with qualified trades, keeping strata in the loop and be respectful to neighbours with regards to not letting trades work outside the allowed hours then there shouldn't be any major issues.

How many m2 the apartment, or its a penthouse ? I would think living in an apartment have more privacy than a t/house, as t/house everyone can see what everyone else is doing.

I reckon you could do an excellent high end reno for 200-300k max

Yes even 200k for an apartment reno is very generous. New top end bathroom, ensuite and kitchen would be total of 80k max

More money in your pocket if you can keep the specs very high but keep costs down. $500k is insane

Your decent reno on a 85sqm 2 bedder in premium suburbs of Sydney will cost around 200k.

When you factor in an apartment over 170sqm, to do it at the level needed to get the higher end sale prices, your easily looking at 250k plus.

I've factored in max 500k but hoping I'll get it done around 400, give or take a little.

Landscaping alone will be 15k plus. Trying to get a plunge in too.

No chance in hell. Top end for all that? Gaggenau integrated will cost that tbh.

No way, no how. Unless its ikea :p
