Can anyone recommend a book that is easy to read on the topics of house construction (I have little/no knowledge on the subject) or property development (I have some experience)?

    Thanks

I don't recall having a set text for resi construction yet we managed to learn with lots of overhead projector and notes. We had set texts for law, engineering, finance/accounting, management, planning, services, design but not building. Maybe things have changed.

I’ve got two of the Ron Forlee books - really interesting and easy to read. I got the Allan Stains House building manual a month ago but haven’t read it. It looks like it would be easy to look up anything you want to understand thoroughly.
