    ^ If memory serves, the last growth cycle (early 2000s) saw a 60% gain on Sydney medians..

    Graph above shows 40%.

    Now this is proof why it's not time in the market ... But timing the market that is crucial, jump in a rising market and you will shave years and less pain.
