    Hi,
I'd like to know what you provide in terms of body wash in your short term lets. I used to have one I quite liked but Woolies (or was it Aldi?) no longer stocks it.
Something gender neutral is the aim.

How do they compare against the commercial hospitality suppliers?

I can tell you as a renter to short-term lets i really like those special tree oil fragrances etc.
I don't know why but i feel those fragrances always psychologically make me feel relaxed and gives that holiday feel.

I would buy whatever is cheap in a white generic bottle, then move onto far more important things :)

Something not tested on animals is always nice. So many people only use cruelty-free products these days.

I normally get just a nice 'girly' (for lack of a more PC term) pump bottle.

I actually also provide hotel-style mini body washes as well. I like to think they add a bit of a fancy touch to impress guests.

I personally hate using a body wash- but I can see how it's much easier to provide than little bars of soap.

Really? I'm a little surprised. The little bars of soap are quite a bit cheaper to get compared to little bottles of body wash - I assumed the wash would be more popular.

I haven't used bars of soap for about 20 years. That kind of soap makes my skin itch. I use a pH balanced body wash, extra mild formula with chamomile extract. Sounds fancy? It's $2.15 for 1L from Woolies :p

One bar of soap lasts for one guest stay. You can't leave partially used bars of soap for guests. The body wash I've seen comes in about a 500ml pump which only has to be topped up for a new guest, so it's a lot more efficient than soap bars.

I meant the 20ml or 30ml mini body washes you find in hotels.

I've never seen the mini body washes in hotels. But I guess even the little ones can also be refilled from the no names refill. So there's much less waste.

    Oh really?

I attached a pic below - its the exact ones I use actually.

I agree its more waste, but I just reckon its a nice touch of extra luxury.

OK, I thought they were mini refillable ones.

So now I'm not sure if Gockie wants a refill pack or the little bottles.

That's the problem with loose specifications- a person in the computer industry will have been familiar with those.

We use a natural body wash here, no chemicals. It costs more, but your skin absorbs whatever you smear on it.

I try to minimise wasteful packaging too and buy 1L bottles. If I was staying elsewhere I'd happily use whatever was supplied for a night or two. But at home, natural all the way.

Recently did my first AirBnB stay and they provided body wash, shampoo, conditioner and skin moisturiser in little bottles and a mini soap on the vanity basin. Impressed me.

But I brought all my own stuff as I didnt know what to expect.

We have brown glass bottles with fancy labels that we bought off etsy that say "hand poured by me"- and just put a middle range body wash in there (I think Palmolive). Looks really fancy and smells nice. We have this for body wash, shampoo, conditioner, hand soap and moisturiser.

I quite like this idea! Environmentally friendly with a personal touch.
