Body Corporate Management recommendation Melb

Hello all,

Can anyone please recommend a strategy to find competent corporate/strata title management companies. After many years with the same company, we were essentially dealing with one person. Now that person has left, we now have to deal with an inexperienced manager that does the bare minimum.

We have over 35 apartments in our building in inner city Melbourne.

As a committee, we have decided to search for possible replacements.

We have looked around our area to see who other buildings are using, but we have no idea how good they are.

Any suggestions on how to approach this?

 

We appointed a new strata manager 12 months ago.
We got recommendations from some of the tradesmen that came around to do some work for us. We also googled, found reviews and asked for management quotes. Finally, we short listed 2 and interviewed them both and went with the one we felt most comfortable with (both companies were willing to meet us onsite for a discussion).
