    Hi,

I am looking at a single storey unit in QLD. The RE agent told me the body corporate for it is $42 per week. Is it too high? Does body corporate in QLD have a building insurance policy? Do I still need to purchase building insurance?

    Thanks,
    Kai

Qld Body Corp Fees do include building insurance. Depending on how big the building is - you need to access the PDS to confirm. Generally though, you need landlord insurance for units to cover internal inclusions - some insurers include this as part of their landlord policies. Body Corp generally covers all else.
