LOL! There's plenty in Wenty that think that Wenty is too far! They might need an overnight bag to make it all the way to Lapstone.

 

Oh..... and that's what I'm not looking forward to about coming back to Sydney, 1 the traffic 2 city slickers

I'm in qld so that would be commitment! I was doing 1.5hrs in wa to get to the Perth meetups with kids! i got to two which was really good

Did you used to have the mt druitt skate rink? I remember going there as a kid for parties and with the fam. Is it still there?
A few years ago i was helping a mate at the old mt druitt bowling alley when they were working on it.it was really eerie walking around with it all smashed up and seeing bobcats driving around where the lanes once were

Yep, I sure do know where it is !

Nearly bought there too. I am very familiar with the whole area, probably because I cross the mountains so much, def on the home run once you get to Lapstone Hotel.

 

What's a quick plane trip between friends.

No, we didn't have the one at Mt Druitt. Ours was in Wollongong. The bowling alley is a Chinese Grocery now. Aldi is a new building near there.

Just like any other meetup. Look for a multi age, multi cultural group. If you walk past & hear someone rambling on about a new property they've just bought, odds are that's the group.
