Recently I noticed some marks on my apartment's wooden floor. They weren't there when I moved in 4 months ago. About a month ago I bought a vacuum cleaner https://www.davidjones.com/default.aspx?catid=881363&pdid=2120416, so I'm not sure if it might be the root cause. Can someone please take a look at these pictures and tell me if it's a serious issue or not, and what might have caused these? Thanks. IMG_3517.jpg IMG_3518.jpg IMG_3519.jpg IMG_3520.jpg

They are old "sap" lines (veins of the tree)
They were there before (unless you have sanded or stripped the varnish)
    Nothing to worry about.
For a second opinion ask @Scott No Mates ;)

Some filler & a quick coat of black Japan over the entire floor will make them disappear:oops: you won't know where they were.

Just live with them, they're sap lines & naturally occurring in the timber.

Thanks mates. I'm very relieved to hear that. Coz I was afraid to lose my bond if it was my fault and my landlord's agent finds out about it.
