My parents have one of those black composite sinks similar to your pic (made by Franke) but with the drainer on the opposite side, against a caeserstone bench top (in white snow). Looks awesome and is now over 5 years old and still looks like new.
From memory this sink was a little pricey though.
Just did a quick search and pretty sure they have this one ... Basis | BFG 621 | Fragranite Onyx | Sinks

We love the black sink. No problems so far! Kitchen ended up costing $6k. All cabinetry, sink, taps and bench tops.

My black sink has finally been unwrapped (the white sink too). They are the same sink - just different colours to match the bench tops. My preference is for no drainer (this is my PPOR) to try and reduce the temptation to leave clutter next to the sink. Draining can be done on the shelf area inside the sink. Why didn't you go for black in the end? Was it a cost saving thing, or design?

Design. Black would have looked good with a black stove, oven and tap. With a silver stove, oven and tap, I think a stainless sink is better.

Its not stone. It's a product called Laminam XL soft touch. Its a compressed porcelain slab basically, with extreme resistance to heat, fire, scratching and chemicals. Its highly UV resistant and stain proof as well, so it can also be used outdoors for benchtops or for external cladding etc... Comes in slab sizes larger than whats available with most manufacturers such as Smartsone, Caesarstone etc... slabs are available up to 3240 x 1620 .

It doesnt cost any more than manufactured stones such as Smartstone , Caeserstone etc. I'm surprised more people don't use it. Laminam XL Archives - Living Tiles

We used it on all our bathroom benchtops as well ...

There's a similar product available called Neolith, but the slab sizes are a little narrower...

Wow - some great looking kitchens there!

For the PowerPoint on the end of the bench (I think it is) - did you consider changing it to black? Imho the white draws attention away from the rest of he kitchen which looks great (very similar to ours so a bit biased )
