I am looking at 2020. But it has to be a great deal or I won't bite. I will look for as long as it takes to find the right deal.

Going on a bit of a spontaneous surge.
Will buy with or without the banks money.
We’ve always bought when we’re ready and no other reason.
    Worked out ok so far.

There is good value in Perth now but I have too much on the go. I am wrapping up my projects this year, taking a break from investing next year then back into it from 2020.

I do the same. I just buy when I am ready and look at the deal rather than statistics or the market or newspaper articles. A good deal is a good deal.

Thanks for your insight mate. @thatbum said something in a post the other day I found very interesting which I cut and pasted in my own 'Perth map'. Trying to get a strategy going. Would love to get my toes wet in the WA market over the next 12 months.

I should diversify away from Sydney OTPs and houses. Just touched the land tax limit this year. Probably look at other asset classes to mix things.

Perth is the place to be considering you are already heavily invested in Brissy. I wished banks can lend me more so I can bargain hunting over there. looks like I have to wait out the credit storm.

Hit my tartgeted portfolio $ value last year so will just sit for a couple of years. May look to reshape the portfolio in 2 years when some loans come of fixed/ IO. Possiblly sell some of the lower socio cheapies and move into more blue chip (or simply reduce debt).
