    I do BBQ,
    My beloved does cakes,

I learnt early on there are certain boundaries that just shouldn't be changed for the good of all involved.

Is that real sand a shells ? I like that, it is the kind of authentic touch a few of us could bring to cake making :)

    The Lazy Housewife speaketh here:
There is a Cheesecake Shop in most suburbs. Use it. If your kids don't like Batman and Elsa, their problem. Time to move up to Tiramisu and Bavarian Forest.

    (grouchy sarcasm intended)

This Angel makes pancakes and/or apple muffins. Maybe banana muffins. Why work up a sweat creaming the sugar and butter when something that can be stirred with a fork is the saving grace for all hectic homes with hungry humanoids. One bowl, it all can go into the dishwasher and no need to measure, I say.

I have a major rule in my kitchen: If it requires more than one bowl, one frying pan or one baking dish, it doesn't get made.

Sorry, Call the Midwife is coming on.
