just finished season 1 of the good Fight, I am quite enjoying it, I still dont get the point of the constant reference to trump, seems completely pointless and irrelevant

This was filmed in the first few months of Trump's presidency. The firm is very liberal in its views, and the views expressed by (most) members of the firm quite possibly express reservations held by many left leaning people in the months following Trump's unexpected win.

Finished season 3 - Although it is more of the same confusion - it ties everything up really well I thought. Worth pushing through to the end!

McMillion$ is a short (5 part ?) doco. How McDonalds Monopoly game was rigged for years and years (15?) and how they were caught. And it was all caught on film. The FBI literally helped them make the doco.

    [Minor Money Heist spoilers below]

Just finished Money Heist part 1. Did anyone else find it slow and full of fluff? The parts of the show about the actual heist/the plan/the preparation I found great. But I found it harder to get through as time went on with all the romance and issues with lazy/poor script writing.

Is part 2/3/4 paced the same way? I really thought part 1 would be the end of this particular heist, so was surprised when I read the synopsis of a few part 2 episodes to find the saga continues in the same setting.

Part 3 is a new storyline. I can't tell you much because I barely lasted two episodes.

Btw they redubbed it after I watched it. However, I watched the subtitled version rather than the dubbed one, as my wife is a native Spanish speaker.

    That reminds me.

In the US, they dubbed Mad Max. Which would have made him Sir Mad Max.

Within about 1 minute of playing I realised it was dubbed and switched to Spanish with subtitles. So much better.

When it's in Spanish, we can do this. But if we watch a show together in a third language, it's a problem because my wife can't quite keep up with subtitles in English. So we have to watch on two devices simultaneously, with Spanish subtitles on one and English on the other. Sometimes it's awkward to try to synch but we get there.

So, puedo hablar, pero no puedo entender todo.

I can speak and understand enough Spanish to get around, even enough to work speaking in Spanish, but it's not enough to understand TV. I'm much more familiar with Mexican and Colombian accents than the accents from Spain.
