Not sure if that's consolable with the reason why most of us are in this challenge though. I know it isn't for me.

Die young and leave a beautiful body! Oh maybe not. I haven't read this thread - I'm 74.5kg.

Or even better, two beautiful lungs :D

I've never smoked, but I grew up in the era where my Dad smoked inside for most of my young life.... it wouldn't surprise me in the slightest if I end up with lung cancer from second hand smoking for so long :/

I'm not in it for the long time, just a good time.

I know my kidneys will pack up around 60, so trying to get everything to shut down at the same time.

I'll do it and report the results, plan to feel a lot more refreshed, hydrated and cleansed.
Never done it for a single day before, let alone a week.
    Looking forward to it.

Are you crazy? That's the most important drink in a day!

Can we drink black coffee? If so, I do this most days anyway, minus the water. I literally don't drink water from when I leave til when I get home- normally 12-16 hours. Not deliberate, just what happens

I stick with plain rooibos tea (caffeine free, just the tea bag in water) and two cups of coffee a day. I drink water when I remember to but find the rooibos easy to drink in winter (I've got a soup mug - about 400ml - that I use).

I would've liked to give it a go but the water in the house I've moved into is so bad that it still tastes metallic and leaves a weird after-taste hours after consumption - even when boiled. Plus, as already stated, I have to have the tea atm to push my feelings down to cope with my clients and work 'mate'.
I was off caffeine for about 10 years though and it definitely helps with weight loss and body shape and self awareness. Only thing is, because you're a bit raw, you need a way to look after yourself and to process your feelings.

You guys can do whatever you like, there are no rules...
You never know how your own body will respond unless you try something.
I know that when I've had plain black coffee a couple times recently before a workout it upset my stomach, so for me, it's plain water for this test.
That's all it is, a test for one week to see if it makes me feel better, and I'm almost certain it will lead to some weight loss too by making me eat at cleaner.
I just have a feeling that dirty drinkers are more likely to be dirty eaters, so I'm starting with cleaning up the drinking first.

This won't do much for me, but I bet it will for (Edit: some) others. I don't drink soft drinks or juices, or anything except black coffee (excluding beers, ok, you got me).

Edit: I think Ace is on the money. There are huge unrecognised calories in liquid form.

So, maybe I have the funniest story of the week? I don't know, you can judge.

I dropped my undies in the gym tonight. Peak hour, as I was strolling across to the squat rack. I guess they were caught up in my towel as I pulled it out of the bag.

Embarassing enough in front of everyone, except someone followed me and tapped me on the shoulder, half walking back and then pointing to them.

Embarassing enough, but then looks at the guy they fell in front of and says, "They definitely aren't his. He doesn't need undies that large".

    :/

@Ace in the Hole, I'm down for water only for next week (and ongoing).

I don't really drink tea or coffee, so that's easy. Juice is also not very often either, but will admit I probably drink a can of soft drink once a week - I've never been huge on the stuff, but I know it makes a difference.

For anyone at all remotely interested, deadlift todays was 125kgs (I went to 127.5kgs but could only do 5), along with decent increases on everything else. That's my own little progress bar there, along with the measurements that are dropping.

@Bran I was going to like that and have a giggle, but the snide comment isn't nice :(
