    Hi guys

Any recommendations? Seatgeek looks good. I'm going on a 10 day trip next year and cramming in as many games as possible :)

    Cheers

Stubhub is my preferred. Have used close to 50 times. Always reliable. Easy to sell on there too if you need to. If you are spending a bit of money you will get some cash back as well.

Stubhub was great when I used it.

I'd highly recommend getting to some college games as well if you get a chance, way better atmosphere in comparison to the NBA.

Awesome - thanks guys. Ended up using a mix of stubhub and seatgeek.

Have booked 8 games over 10 nights - heading to Staples, Oracle and United Centre. I can't wait!!!!

    Cheers

    Yep :)

My wife enquired with a tour company - it was going to be a nice surprise (did I mention how awesome my wife is!) We discussed it and agreed that it would prob be best if I give the tour a miss and go with a friend. That way we can head to the cities we choose and see the teams we like - so we're off to Staples (Cavs v Clippers is the big game we're looking forward to), Oracle and United Centre.

My dream is to see Lebron play live. Hopefully Kobe's still playing in a few months time too!

    Cheers

Too much hard work when I could be inside the stadium enjoying an icy cold beer. Listing tickets on stubhub is really easy and profitable the times I've had to do it.

LA, Oakland and Chicago in 10 nights is a bit of a whirlwind tour? What else do you plan on doing while over there?

    And not in jail? :D:cool:

I've used stubhub exclusively since 2012. Though I'm super keen to tryout seatgeek after it was advertised on the grantland nba podcasts. Did you use the special offer codes? U get $20 off ur first purchase.

I'm an idiot - I didn't use the codes. It only just occurred to me that I've had those codes drummed into me every time I've listened to Zach Lowe......and I didn't use them.

Not going to squeeze in any NFL games while you're there? Raiders are playing well again.

Nah - it's NFL off season when we're going. That would have been the icing on the cake. The kings are playing at Staples on our only non NBA night so could go watch them.....but not really into NHL....and probably should go and check out some stuff in LA outside of the staples centre.

    Cheers

Some of the comedy clubs are pretty good, we saw Harland Williams, Orny Adams and David Koechner (Anchorman) for about $18. And we met the fat kid from Goonies! Ah LA...

NHL is a really cool sport to watch live, actually think it's the game of the US Big 4 that translates by far the worst to TV, totally different at the game. Cool atmosphere for at the Kings game I went to.

Ton of stuff to do in LA though so can understand a sports free night, one of the good things though is how much of the stuff is day time stuff though, like going to some of the late shows and the like (which are filmed during the day normally).
