For those who like Swedish drama, I stumbled across this series on foxtel. Could not stop watching.

The first time I was in Mexico, I was taught "cabrón". Several days later, I was asked if I remembered the word I was taught. I repeated it a bit loud in a busy street. I was very quickly told to quieten it down!

Okay it’s no luxe listing Sydney but Rosehaven on ABC makes me want to move to small town Tasmania (of-course no lock downs either).

It has made me appreciate the role and value of property mangers (not that McCallum real estate is representative of a typical big city RE agent).

    So who else watches Rosehaven?

I wanted to relocate to Tasmania about ten to 15 years ago.

    I LOVE Rosehaven.

Quite funny thinking of it as a real estate show. Which it isn't. Is more drama than comedy. I am so worried about Daniel's testicle.

I love it too. I'm just rewatching the earlier seasons because it's been a while, and then I'll move onto the later seasons I haven't seen.

Funny, gentle, quirky, feel good. What's not to like?

For fans of Hey Hey it's Saturday. It's interesting that they are bringing a single 50th anniversary special

Most of it will be old material - just as well probably. The attempted resurrection a few years ago fell on its face somewhat. And a few cast members are no longer the same. Lucky Phil died a few weeks ago. John Blackman lost a jaw to skin cancer. Molly Medrum had a serious head injury.

Both RFDS and the Ron Iddles Homicide shows are highly popular in this household.
Would recommend a catch up if you’re in lockdown looking for a show or two to watch.

Just started Blacklist and loving it! 8 seasons to go! Don't know why I was hesitant to start watching earlier.

I didnt get all the way through first time around. Will have to revisit. It sits in the genre of shows I tend to enjoy as a guilty pleasure - action/spy/police procedural that doesn't take too much attention, can be on in the background while doing other stuff. I'd add:
    Alias
    Covert Affairs
    Person of Interest

    and some newer ones:
    Bourne Identity series
Jack Ryan series (John Krasinski does a great job in this)
Lupin (if you dont mind foreign language stuff)

All those series you've mentioned we enjoyed. Even lupin to some extent .

If you haven't watched Queen of the South yet, I strongly recommend you watch it. I think you'll like it.

We just watched Operation Buffalo on Netflix. Based on a true story of nuclear testing at Maralinga. Only 8 episodes. Thoroughly enjoyed it. Then looked up a series of reports back around 20 years ago.....48 pages of it....showing that what happened was worse than the Series.
