Sorry. Extreme bad taste isn't a reportable offence.

Old People's Home for Four Year Olds

Season 1 looked at an old peoples home where many residents were frail and depressed. They took a group of four year olds into the facility to interact with each other - there were huge improvements in the health and happiness of the seniors, and an increasing bond and respect from the four year olds.

Season 2 has just started today. This time, it's a purpose built pre pre school, where seniors who live at home alone are taken to the pre pre school to interact.

Season 1 was excellent. I'm looking forward to this new season.

ABC TV, Tuesdays at 8:30, and of course, on iView.

    Netflix: When They See Us

I may be a bit late on this one, as I think it was released in 2019. I really enjoyed it - but it’s a tragic story.

Five teens from Harlem become trapped in a nightmare when they're falsely accused of a brutal attack in Central Park. Based on the true story.

This was a political issue, when a now very well known rich bloke took out ads (apparently shown in the series) saying that they were guilty - a stand he never changed despite them being found not guilty.

I've quite enjoyed The Durrells on ABC iView.
    The Durrells

It's a series based on a trilogy by naturalist and writer Gerald Durrell (The Corfu Trilogy), including a book I vaguely remember from my school days - My Family and Other Animals.

It's set in the 1939s, as a single mother in England decides that she will move with her four children to the Greek island of Corfu.

Perhaps a part of the appeal for me is that I'd love to do something similar myself, even if only for several months - to live in a village style culture in a non English speaking country.

Gerald is the youngest child, the eldest - Lawrence Durrell - also became an accomplished writer.

The series portrays the eccentric family as they try to cope with life on the island on a tight budget.

I especially liked the intro animation, different for each series, showing scenes from that series.

I'd rate it at about 8.5.

Thought you were talking about Mare of Easttown.

Loki is off to a good start, although it won't be to everyone's taste. Has a very nice aesthetic.

If you haven't already watched, go and binge Dark. German series that finished last year. I think it's my favourite TV series ever. You need to pay attention and watch it to the end (3 seasons), but if you don't like it I promise I'll give you your money back - it's that good.
