Thse are (in my mind), the best things I've done in 2017:

    1. Gone to Peter Thornhill day in Sydney! Really enthusiastic... playing around with super too. Huge impact.
    2. Negotiated work contract, more money, got more responsibility and exposure to everything going on at work. Really enjoying it. And I have an idea for my future work for later down the track. :)
    3. Checked out Geelong. :)

I suppose that list is a little bit on the "lean" side (I tried to pull out equity about 4 weeks back... its not going to happen unless I go with the likes of Liberty, and I'm not going to do that....), but let's see what happens the rest of 2017....
Ps. Volleyball is going well, as always. And so is our house. :)

Decided to pull the pin where we live now and follow the dream to live nearer to the coast yet still have some land to play with like 8 acres on the Nambucca river.

Continuing the drive to reduce debt and become independent from banks and APRA (the new threat to investors).

There will be a backlash, of sorts. Lets wait and see which sort it will be eh?

Not in any particular order; just as they came into my head:

    1. Celebrated first anniversary on PC
    2. Put a PC member up for a night for free
    3. Became my wife's personal assistant.

Planning to have a bigger year next year :)

Year is going nice for me

    - Doing my first subdivision
    - Went to WetnWild with the wife (on a day when no one was really there so it felt like a huge playground just for us. We got cheap tix too!)
    - I refinanced out of Liberty (got the approval email today)...I have been trying since Dec 2016, it felt like forever
    - Learnt a few new advanced classical songs on piano

Seems like Peter Thornhill made a big impact for many. When is he doing another one in Sydney?

Finished a few developments, others in progress, and lining up a few more for later this year/early next year.
Finding time to do my day job.

Firstly congrats on the refinance out of Liberty! :)
Peter's next scheduled Sydney events are in August and November. Book through the Sydney Uni Continuing Education website, search for "Investing for long term gains". :)

Best thing for me was getting the all-clear after an anxious wait following a call back from Breastscreen.

Went to Kennett River over the Labor Day weekend with family...lots of koalas, feeding parrots, bike rides, sight seeing, body surfing (bit cold but still smashed it), and liver destruction. :D

We became totally debt free at 36, we are both working less and having more family holidays. Started investing seriously with shares!! We really do live in a great country.
