Chasing some recommendations for staying in Phuket.

Previously stayed at Le Meridien Beach Resort which was fantastic but was also 14 years ago!

Needs to be family friendly (under 10s), on the beach, lots of activities and multiple dining options.

    Not Patong.

I stayed at the Cape Panwa Hotel last year. Private beach (but swimming not so good at low tide due to rocks), I think 5 or 6 restaurants, plus a few local restaurants down the bottom of the hill which are good.

If I was to do that kind of trip again I'd consider going back but to be honest I found Phuket Town itself a whole lot more interesting than a resort.
