Where is the best place to buy a trailer?

would ones on gumtree be any good?

What should you look for when buying a trailer?

Have you bought one? was it worth it?

I got one for free when I bought a boat.
It's worth it because I wouldn't be able to get the boat out of the water without it.

Depends what size you want.. Some Bunnings sell them at pretty cheap price for a 6x4 with Cage... and not too expensive.

Depends what you want it for. There's a heap of types.
Gumtree would be the go or local classifieds.
I had a 6x4 trailer and could get a good tonne I on there for trips to the tip with some creative loading and DIY hungry boards. Do love a good trailer.

When we moved from Melb to Cairns we sold pretty much everything. In the past couple of years there's only been one thing we've regretted getting rid of - our 7x5 trailer with cage and cover.

We bought it new off ebay from a place at Ferntree Gully for a couple of grand. It paid for itself many times over.

@fullylucky Just pick up some stuff from bunnings and they will give you free trailer hire for a couple of hours. Gumtree doesn’t offer this service.

When I bought my dryer from good guys I used the trailer from Bunnings to transport it home. I purchase a piece of timber and used the trailer to transport.... ;) win win.

The real question is - did you then return the timber for a refund?

It's one thing having the trailer, another having the towbar.
