    The epitomy of cool.

    A great motto, too.

Warumpi Band 'Big Name No Blanket tour, Brewarrina, during the riots..
I feel old now... Angus was just out of school...

I watched ACDC at Port Macquarie Civic Centre in the late '70's. I had just begun learning guitar. Angus was like some wild electric worm going crazy all over the stage floor pumping out unbelievable guitar solos. Incredible talent and amazing career.

Geez, this thread makes me feel slightly young, and unfortunate

Top 3 i've ever seen live:

    Red Hot Chilli Peppers
    John Butler Trio
    Foo Fighters w/ Tenacious D

Really, really regret not being able to see Metallica or Rage Against the Machine live.

I saw the Oils in Port Macquarie in the late 80's and that was gold.

If only Dire Straits had decided to play at Crescent Head Country Club all dreams would have been fulfilled....

Nickelback and Keith Urban. John Farnham is also a great performer, so I would put him up there too.

I've seen lots of bands. Lots of noise and smoke and effects and costumes.
Most memorable was George Michael. No band, no back up, just him in a white T-shirt and jeans and his incredible voice and mastery of different styles of songs and raw talent.

Absolutely amazing man I LOVE him!!!

Psuedo Echo, last year, Canberra. Although grey around the gills now, they put on a cracking show that had the whole crowd rocking!

Not a band but the best live act I've seen was prince couple of months prior to his death, just him and a piano, outstanding.

The roots have been incredible everytime I've seen them too, Michael Jackson, Elton john, stevie wonder, Metallica, Sharon jones, muse and Herbie Hancock are probably some of my favourite live performances but after prince and Michael at the top of the pile it's hard to pick the rest in any order.

I got tickets to the extra Oils show in Melbourne in November...I can't wait as by all accounts they are killing it on their current US and Europe leg of their tour

matchbox 20 in 1997 festival hall Brisbane. Been to everyone after that and first one best by far.

Not a concert but I saw David Copperfield at the entertainment centre and got to go up stage for one of his tricks.
