    Tip 1: Wrap her tightly and she will sleep better.
    Tip 2: Move her back to cot.

    I learned my lesson the hard way with No. 1 who is now in Year 7...

    I got a coin at the end of a string and shake it like a pendulum. .her eyes follow and she gets tired and falls asleep .:D

    She is literally having free breakfast, lunches, dinners and midnight snacks at the moment :p

    Adorable - and I found it worked really well to keep the bassinet in next to the bed for the first few months.

    The only advice I like to give (unasked) ... I assume your wife is the main carer at this stage ... is that when you get home, take the baby. Doesn't matter where you take it - just take it away to the next room - for a walk down the street - for a play on the floor - for half an hour or so.

    When you're a mum, even when the baby is asleep, you are always consciously aware of it and your brain doesn't ever get a break ... unless someone you trust takes the baby away

    We have a nanny that helps for a few hours which is a massive help.
