    My thoughts exactly.

If everyone was content with what they have, no one would be challenged or driven to do anything.

Personally I hate the word and concept of mediocrity. But that's the beauty of life. Everyone is different. Live and let live.

Not long ago I was walking to the local shop in the Druitt when I walked past a house where the occupants where sitting on a lounge on the front lawn. They were drinking JDs, smoking and listening to loud music on a ghetto blaster or boom box or what ever they're called.

I said to them "Hey bro's, are youse really happy with this life style?".

A squeaky voiced female burst out some obscenities and threw an empty glass at me which bounced off a parked car and smashed on the road. One fella in the group then asked if I'd get a box of JDs from the bottle shop and he'd pay me tomorrow.

After analysing this situation, I realise that these people are perfectly content with themselves.

Sure, they demonstrated passive aggressiveness but this appears to be some kind of in-built survival skill that they have honed in over the generations.

You know thinking about it even plants in my garden vary some are mediocre and some are not. Some will just thrive and grow over no matter what the conditions are, dry or too wet, and some just give up and perish.:D

Now, completely different discussion, but I personally don't believe that we do have free will at all, just the illusion of it.

For me its feeling at peace and being greatful for what I have and where I am now that gives me the power to live bigger and go for it more .It takes the pressure off needing to prove anything to anybody so I feel released to use what I have to mulptiply it as big as i can to help as many people as I can in this short opportunity called life
