Tenant complain bees in the house and she suspect it's coming from the ducted heating air vents, however no bee nest was physically seen/ found yet. PM suggest to send a pest controller to have it remove.

Do you guys see any point of sending a pest controller without actually locating where the bee nest first? Would they have some sort of special device to detect where the nest is?

You should find a bee keeper not a general pest controller. They may take them for lower cost and they know bees better than a pest controller They dont kill them - They take the queen to a external hive and they all follow. Bees can do massive damage before becoming evident. Or they may be a wasp !

I had same issue with a house up here in QLD . Owner oversea. I got in a beekeeper and he removed them for free but had to pay handyman to replace gyprock beekeeper had to cut to get to the bees in the wall. Best not to kill them most pest people wont either
