    Hi all,
Could someone please explain to me the process of being a broker and working for yourself once completing your certificate.
Also what are the rules surrounding advertising your services etc?
Met someone contemplating a career change and thought to myself this is going to be much harder than he is making out.

    thanks in advance

Certainly not simple, especially if you don't have any experience within the banking/property industry. Best tip - find a mentor/boss with a lot of patience.

Getting leads for new brokers is the most difficult part. If they're not good at that, it won't matter how good they are because they won't make enough to survive.
