    Hi,
I have a fully detached property sitting on a subdivided stata land in WA. Since it is only 2 property there is no body corporate nor strata fee etc.
I am looking to do a minor renovation to my bathroom on that property.
Is there a legal restriction that I need to clear before proceeding with the renovation.
    Any help is appreciated

Guess what your saying is you have a "Duplex" unit?
You have your unit on your titled parcel of land, the other equally has theirs.
Each can do what they like to their unit and parcel (within local gov rules etc) however any common property shared by both units (i.e. driveway to both units) is shared financially and legally.

Anything inside should be fine. Outside stuff may be tricky depending on the strata plan.
