Bathroom renovation issues

Did my IP bathroom at the start of the year and already had 2 notices

1) signs the drainage is leaking

2) the grout for the tiling has issues.

Should the plumber and tiler be responsible to come back and repair the issues (to be honest i picked some dodgy tradies and would not want to engage them again)

Its been nearly 9 months since the work was done

 

Did you pay cash?

 

Would depend on what's on the plumber's receipt,but if it's leaking then ring the plumber up most times they will come back because if the blame game starts,and the leak is internal and the insurance comes into play ..

 

@gach2 Referring to the grout tiling, what issues have started to occur exactly? Also, are we talking about just the general floor, walls or in the shower itself?

I am unsure of the tiling issue - pm just mentioned it but will get more details and update

 

Depends on what the works warranty has on the receipt,some carry zero others may have a clause where the work is backed for a time period,and "IF" they comply with the warranty and the loss or damage you may suffer by reason of failure of the plumbing,you only have to say no once..
