    Hi all,

My PM has had some quotes to renovate a shower (basically rip it out and start again due to leaking) of $5k and around $10k to redo the whole ensuite.

Seems a bit expensive to me for a small bathroom, but then again I've never renovated a bathroom before.

Anyone have any contacts I should speak to?

    Thanks

A standard reno on average size bathroom is going to cost about 5k. 10k seems high. We've done two small ones one was 3.5k one was 6.5. Price varied on finishes. And mates rates. Without discounts the first one would have been minimum 6k and the second one about 7.5. Both roughly 3x2m

    What are they pricing?
Need to compare apples with apples

And does your pm know what's going on? Previous pm just emailed me a 10k quote for a bathroom rather than looking into to dine degree. Nfi.

    Hi all,

My PM is actually amazing - can't fault her whatsoever. But would like a couple more contacts to get quotes from. Cheers

Find a tiler to do it. A tiler can demo it and put it back together including resheeting etc and run of the tilers trades. It should costs 5 k if that for new bathroom.
