Bathroom Extractor Process

    I'm very new to bathroom renovations so please excuse my ignorance. Do bathroom Extractor fans just suck the steam into the roof cavity? There is an whirlybird on the roof. I just don't like the idea of moving the problem into the roof or will the whirlybird take care of that?

    It should be ducted to the outside (through the eaves and terminated with a vent) otherwise there will be moist air in the roofspace (great for mould).
