    Why does that end up in maths? Maths too is an optional subject for HSC.

    I recall that we studied some of it back in "commerce" years 8-10 when you're getting to grips with money ie pocket money, tuck shop money, banking, saving up for a bike or brain cell dehydrator (X-box/Switch/Nintendo/Atari/Play Station etc).

    There's no subject called 'Commerce' that I know of currently in VIC schools sadly Scott...
    I would proffer the argument that the consoles aren't necessarily damaging, it is more the game choice. I learnt a lot about cities from the SimCity game series-indeed my geography teacher was who recommended the game to me.
