Banks not financing under 50m2?

    All I can speak from is experience and I can tell you that this is the experience that I have had from dealing with many lenders, purchasing many properties and nearly purchasing many more. Ring the agent up if you don't believe me, he will tell you that the banks will not finance this property without at least 50%. This happens with properties of this size all the time.

    Why ring the agent when we have reputable brokers right here telling us that it is possible?
    I wouldn't be listening to a REA for finance advice. Would you?

    @Inov8ive, I think there has been a misunderstanding in what is being discussed. It seems like the conversation has transitioned from financing apartments under 50sqm to financing a particular apartment you wanted to buy :)

    No need to be rude, you provided a link so approach a broker with a pre-approval, based on your posts i'm not sure anyone would deal with you, of course unless they were desperate for business. Your link does not provide sqm - only those with rp data will find the size that you refer to.
