Bank's Mistake

    Got a phone call last week, AMP made a mistake on my interest rate, instead of increasing my interest rate which was at 3.82 % they reduced it to 3.40% on a 900K loan. I had no idea, did this last April. I never noticed... oops.

    Anyway, they apologised and will not be backdating, what a nice surprise... Thanks AMP

    Yet receiving money in a bank account by accident, withdrawing and using it to buy luxury crap then fleeing the country is frowned upon. What a weird world we live in :rolleyes:

    Yeah ? wow, an error in your favor, the game I play the error is always in the *other* parties favor & has been many times (rigged)

    Well, there was no money given, it was money not requested to be paid & probably could have argued that it is not to be increased, very different to someones funds put as cash into another account.

    If they can make that mistake think of all the others that go undetected. I wonder how long it took someone to argue with them until they went - Oh crap.
