    well, thats prudential if its correctly targetted and implemented

    We do this more than once a week

    2 steps back - surviveability, vs 10 steps back

    Hard convo to have. like the one about personal risk insurance.

    You neglected to link this to the part of the article which indicates they're having this discussion with the people who are in financial stress and have asked for loan deferrals. Nothing to suggest that the primary criteria for this conversation is the ownership of multiple properties.

    The article also indicates that investment loans are performing better than owner occupier loans.

    Its true, but counter intuitive

    youd think folks would do a LOT more to protect the roof over their heads of their families.

    but most investors are better resourced than many PPOR borrowers

    Agreed Rolf, I think serious property investors have more risk management strategies, more cash flow buffers in place. It's not uncommon to encounter investors with $50k or a lot more in an offset account doing nothing. Many home owners are often only a pay packet or two away from trouble.
