    Hi there,

Do you all still see growth in the suburbs around badgerys creek given the new airport?

There is a Sydney slow down I know, but will be nice to see what you think of inveting in and around this area.

    Cheers

They are not planning on building a new hospital but they are putting significant investment into Liverpool, Campbelltown, Bankstown and Bowral. They are also looking to replace Bankstown, just gotta figure out where. There is some serious planning & investment going into those hospitals to make them smarter and to add more services. They're looking at ways to provide care outside of being an inpatient, the integrated health care facilities (plural) are part of that solution, they are not primary care clinics. They are intended to provide outpatient and community health services to a community. The local general practices will refer in as appropriate. There are many people who end up staying in hospital rather than being discharged because the systems, processes and technology are not in place to enable an earlier transition back home where they can be monitored in need, under the care of their GP and other primary care clinicians. There are many (!!) instances where it is preferable to provide care in the community, with people at home with their family, they do better there. And, bonus, it's vastly more economical to do so. So good on them for trying to work smarter not just replicate what most will agree doesn't work as well as it could and is insanely expensive to provide. Rant over.

The growth has largely been factored in already imo. Commonly with growth generated by an infrastructure spend like Badgery's, there are 2 growth events - one when the decision is announced and the other when it is actually opened for business and people see it for real.

I think its a long term play 10 years plus.
But Sydney will look different in 10+ years

It could be a moment that you feel you should have done? Who knows.

Long term play, likely 10-15 years, the risk is very high if you have not delved into all the available information out there. Go through the following for reference as a starting point if looking to land bank. The flow on effects should also benefit regional business centres such as St Mary's, Camden/Macarthur, Liverpool, Penrith, Ctown etc.

    1. Western Sydney Aerotropolis Stage 1 Plan
    2. SEPP amendment 2014 for Broader Western Sydney Employment Area
    3. Greater Sydney Region Plan 2016
    4. Stage 1 land use and infrastructure implementation plan
    5. Airport Plan
