BA - Ravi Sharma

Hi Guys,

Anyone here availed services of BA, Ravi Sharma? He also runs a YouTube channel on personal finance.
Please share your reviews if you have experience working with him.

His website advertises buyers advocacy services, but he gives a lot of finance advice without appearing to be licensed. The same can be said for the YouTube videos I watched. A lot of the info on the channel is okay, but could easily be misinterpreted. I would hope that anyone using his services would be referred to a mortgage broker to get proper credit advice.

 

Op, have you read the books that have been suggested in previous posts? Those would help you assess advisors, instead of looking for a saviour.

I was watching another YouTuber and she mentioned that this guy helped securing her 3 positively geared IP’s (all 3 combined were under 1 mil).
I will try to dig more about him. He is also selling a course on his website for AUD 900. Not sure how it is. No reviews available for the same.

 

If you have a specific state in mind for your next investment you should also look for recommendations made in this forums (there are plenty).

She got decent number of subs on YouTube and followers on Insta. Brand collabs does pay well. Not sure about 14K though.
Maybe I will have a word with the guy and will play by the ear.

Try and find what Ravi did between leaving uni and becoming a BA

 

I think it doesn’t go well with what he is doing now. But I remember that in one of his videos he mentioned that he was a fulltime DJ

 

Ravi has some interesting videos and it looks like he's done well for himself.

But why wouldn't you use a BA who is actually on the ground in your city/region of choice (unless you are buying in Sydney where he is based), and has years of experience being a BA?

Unfortunately I am not sure about the region. I have watched all his videos and some of them are quite usefull. So I thought I will try to find out if someone has worked with him and see if he can add any value.

He also dabbles in crypto and pokemon cards, NFTs, etc. Looks like he's done well for himself, and all free content is valuable even if you only take 1 thing from it. Don't know enough about his BA services.

 

You have any proof of this? Pretty big claim to make.

In Sanjana's latest videos about purchasing her latest investment property, she mentions using Ravi as her BA (free of charge), but no where does she mention that's her boyfriend. Massive conflict of interest imo... Not cool to play your viewer base like this, not transparent at all

This thread seems to be more looking for support of the idea of this apparent shortcut than looking for actual answers.
