The reason for the amount of rooms its a multi-generational greek/mediterranean family, trying to live the hollywood life. I know the owners and the business they run. And the reasons for sale......

    low ball away

Horrendous, gaudy, and tacky. Must have cost a fortune.

Love the poster in one of the rooms, just opposite Danny Green-vs- Manny Siaca

    Fits the house

It will be interesting see what it sells for; Willy Porteous is selling it

    I thought they were Indian?

We've got friends in the area and most of it is around $1-1.5m but there are a few in the mid 2-3 bracket. It's a good large land component area for business owners who work in the nearby industrial estate and/or want something 20km from CBD on 2.5 acres.

That house however is something else. The whole second floor is just one big games room which seems like a waste of space. The kitchen seems too small for what is a very large house and the decor well it's too ostentateous for me.

My eldest though it had a touch of Pharoah 'style'/

Just wow! :).... Thanks to the OP for sharing it....

I don't know much about how profitable it would be though.... This could be turned into a small resort or similar.... subject to approvals or whatever that may need...

Nevertheless... I consider it as one among the most beautiful houses I have ever seen (except those shown in movies) .... or may be I just haven't seen enough listings of such luxury mansions :p .....

Are there really many more of these around?

At least the ceilings are high, but the design of the house is terrible.

They are a family owned furniture company that is feeling the pinch. Dunno where you got your story from but maybe it's meth fuelled as well.

Yeah if I had to design that from scratch I would use different decor and colours (not gold pillars) but yes I would happily live there too, it's much better and bigger than the average 5 bedroom family home I have now.
.... and I did not get to design it so good job to whoever did. I think it looks great.

The gold is OTT for me too. I actually felt that the design was quite poor with most of the second storey being that snooker/games room.

It was Under Offer but now doesn't seem to be anymore so I guess the deal fell over. Valuations would have been hard in that area as most are only $1.2m. We tried to buy one around the corner and the owners were quite difficult to bring down in price and in the end we had to walk away from it. I fell in love with the gardens - but probably not the upkeep nor the colour of all the wall painting Sold Price for 20 Golfview Place Gnangara WA 6077
