    Or is it because there is little demand for airing of sport to women? I often hear men getting excited about going to Bobs to watch the 'match' - whatever match that might be. Rarely hear it with women. You'd think most men would want to watch women in tight/skimpy outfits getting sweaty.

    I also think women are more doers than watchers.

    That is why I ask "which came first, the chicken or the egg". Nobody can "watch" if it is not available to watch. I don't know the answer, but there is not much choice to watch women playing sport, even those that don't involve skimpy outfits.
