    Nuts! I see your point but hard to put a price on Manly, it's amazing place to live and there's not many apartments like that.

    This place has harbour views and is in Manly...

    Mascot does not and is down the road from the airport...

    Absolute no brainer at the prices you mentioned.
    That said, $1.1m is a bit rich for this tiny 2 bed with no parking.

    All I can say is that different people have different values.

    Been to Manly many times, first n 2nd time okay, nothing special compared to bondi. 3rd got pretty bored. To me, lack of shopping options and poor transit facilities to city are major disadvantages, beach means very little (lots of people around agree).
    But I can see how surfers and beach goers would sacrifice space and quality of building for the proximity to beach. Just didn't realise how much they would sarifice until I saw price tags like that.

    If you don't like or value the beach which is an enormous draw card than its not for you.


    But comparison to Mascot.
    Which is a congested over developed busket , full of property owned investor's, minimal community feel. It is literally full of migrants and students in the apartment buildings. The older mascot house's are a bit better.

    Alot of plane noise. Like the Ip we were were inspecting shook , pollution from ports, Kalloges factories Port botany pollution.

    How did you even draw the comparison.
