I was just pointing out that his popularity skyrocketed in 2020 and presented the data. You called it a typo and keep passionately counter arguing about why he's an idiot. You can't stand him, cool. I'm not a fan either. What you, I or our social circles think has little to do with the trend of his popularity

I wonder if they’ll manage to put the spotlight on boat people again. It wouldn’t be a real Aussie election without boat people.

When it comes to cruise ships this government has certainly stopped the boats. Hopefully this time next year I'll be on one.

It really feels like UAP is trying to replace the Nationals. I was amazed that the Nats only hold about 2% of the vote - they are a fringe group just like the others, but they are the tail wagging the dog. Clive showed he was able to influence the election result by throwing massive dollars at the campaigning, but it now seems that instead of attacking labour and giving preferences to Libs, he wants actual seats and to be at the table, so is focusing on attacking the Nats.

I'll probably vote the Libs again.

Not because I agree 100% with what they're doing or agree with their handling of the pandemic but can't see any real contenders or thought leadership on the other side either. Better the devil you know.....

But if any of the majors propose scratching land tax, they have my allegiance!

Then why not vote independent? At least they might limit the rorts and provide some accountability, whoever forms government.

I know every vote helps, but these fringe parties never seem to get remotely close to winning.

I mean actual independents, not fringe parties like UAP or lib dems.

Depends what seat you're in, but I'd love to see more quality independents like Helen Haines and Zali Steggall get up. Small L liberals with a conscience and sensible economic and climate change policies who punch above their weight.

There are a whole lot of Indies running at the next election for exactly the reasons you're talking about - they don't like the major parties.

Scomo shall win the next election again - he is riding high atm especially standing up to the Oz borders on unvaxed so that is a very good odds, Cant remember how much was the payout from the last election odds

No longer any issues with bushfires, overseas holidays, climate change, vaccinations, states lockdown, RATs, submarines, treatment of women and best of all JobKeeper - helping all the people and businesses in needs and even some entities that didnt quite needed the help :D

Nearly $1T debt but Oz economy is so strong in the coming years so we shall be allright ;)

Change of government won’t address structural problems in Aussie housing market
“Overall, there is a known lack of integrated planning and co-ordination between the federal, state, and local governments to solve this puzzle. The problem is particularly noticeable in the middle ring suburbs, resulting in the ‘missing middle’ and an insufficient supply of medium-density townhouse projects.”

“This issue is also unlikely to be resolved in the near future. When we add to that Australia’s migration policy that will impact the demand for properties in the major employment hubs, then the issue is here to stay.”
