    This is one I learned the hard way.

    My income has doubled in 6 years with 3 promotions at my main job and the addition of a 2nd job but I went from a 21 year old working 40hrs a week, fit and healthy with a very good work/life balance to a 27 year old working 60-70hrs a week, nowhere near as fit and healthy and a poor work/life balance.

    Next year I am dropping the 2nd job and refuse to work more than 50hrs a week. I figure slow growth while spending quality time with family, friends and looking after myself is much more important than rapid growth, living extremely frugally and ignoring my health.
