was there a monaro there too?

i used to have an LX toraba, 202 trimatic! wish i didnt sell it and parked it up somewhere! straight as.
put on the standard hoon gear for a 20year old, 350 holley, lowered, chevoit mags (sitting at ip silly me), extractors. fuel economy was not proportional to performance!

Nah, wasn't me - that belongs to the neighbour. They had just traded their non-XU1 and bought this one new. His dad died and he's kept it pristine ever since.

Turbo was an Aust-designed & built kit (had a mean kick to it).

Picked this up recently for fun, not so much an investment. Was 4.1 auto now 351 4 speed ( cause it's more fun) Other half not too impressed but I'm having fun

It only says "4.1" on the pack. Not a bad XB for its age

I had a couple of HQ Coupe Munro's in my earlier life - sold my last one to buy my first house (with my first missus) in '84 :(

If only I'd of known that marriage wasn't gonna last

I know this thread is about Aussie cars, however I was looking at importing an American Muscle car back just after the GFC. In the end I didn't go ahead simply because I only have the one car space.

    Boy they were cheap then!!!

The Ho-ee would have to be one of the best Aussie built cars of all time.

Nice. I used to have a white 74 XB (4.1 auto).
Would still love to have a 351 coupe version of the XA, XB or XC but they're getting a bit pricey.
