Auction clearance rate nosedives, with Brisbane lowest of capitals - realestate.com.au

I had a chuckle referencing the auction clearance rates...especially for brisbane- there are 2 ways to look at this:
    1. Confirms that brisbane is still a country town, not ready to join the big leagues by putting their money where their mouth/hype is...or
    2. 30% or so underscores just how easy it is for get a good place at auction- will have very low competition, assuming the vendor sets a realistic price of course.

How many properties are sold at auction in Brisbane? I assume more than Perth:

Latest auction results (Perth & WA)
    SCHEDULED AUCTIONS: 59
    RESULTS AVAILABLE: 27
    CLEARANCE RATE: 41%

Actually, that's pretty high for Perth. It's usually around 20% or 25%.
