    GXY & BIG Update

GXY is very close to profit target, consider stop loss to lock in some profit or if you are happy with around +12% in 8 days (depending on your entry) you could take it now.

    GXY
    GXY 16FEB18.png

BIG has had a strong impulse down recently and made me re-think my original wave count. This has been updated and new levels mapped out, however caution is needed when the retracement has run this deep and strong plus markets have become generally volatile. I normally prefer a maximum retracement of 61.8% but in this case the retracement is still in the area of wave 4 so still within the bounds of a normal Elliott retracement.

BAL nearing completion of wave C (end of major retracement)
    upload_2018-6-5_18-36-28.png

Generally I am expecting bearish conditions over the coming months but there will always be a few standouts that may buck the trend. BAL has had massive strength this year and is setting up for a potential leg higher with excellent pattern characteristics. Look for a bounce from the $15 zone around 20/21 June as confirmation of end of wave C.

You always make the most amazing use of graphical analysis to support your discussions, @Alex Straker. 10 years ago, I would have devoured them. Now, I'm just so tired and brain that that I'd rather give you all my money and say "Just do with my $ what you're busy doing with your $".

    BAL looking attractive

    upload_2018-10-17_15-41-30.png

After leading XJO strongly in 2017/18 it has been through a lagging period and is now just coming back in to the improving quadrant.

    upload_2018-10-17_15-40-7.png

Technically this looks very well set up however the general market could be volatile for a while yet so common sense is king ATM.

CUV has been a very strong stock and for many weeks leading XJO dramatically.

    upload_2018-10-26_4-20-5.png

Recently published a couple of buy alerts for CUV, here's the chart that first went out to clients 2JUL18 with specified preferred buy level of $9.97 - $10.05

A couple of weeks later it was over 50% gain and we advocated taking some profit. The gain reached over 100% in around a month.

Another opportunity is coming up around $15 but needless to say be careful in these conditions :) upload_2018-10-26_4-18-11.png

    Current Sector Map!!!!

More like the 'Last Men Standing' That green growing patch in the lower right quadrant is the last remaining sector with some strength right now and that is the GOLD sector. Well what da ya know.....someone's buying up gold related stocks ;)

    upload_2018-10-31_19-2-19.png

First rotation in to strength in this recent trouble was Telecommunications sector......

    Second one was Gold.......

    upload_2018-10-31_19-7-29.png

This is a pattern of sector rotation behaviour I know only too well, it's called defence :)

    CUV Update (see post 26OCT18)
    upload_2018-11-1_18-15-14.png

Hit buy zone at $15 and now in profit over 14% in a few days with major potential still left :)

Could use a stop loss at breakeven now for a risk free look at potentially much higher.

Love your work @Alex Straker, quick question how do the harmonic arcs etc. work with volatile and obviously other factors at play like CTD?

@Pier1 principles are universal and always work, even worked on Bitcoin. High volatility just means the market will make more extreme harmonic extensions so higher or lower octaves are reached.
