    Hi Guys

I have a few different ASX shares that I planned to hold for long term. I received their letter asked me to update bank account and TFN.

I have seen a few different registries like Computershare & Linkmarketservices depend on the shares I own.

Is it possible for me to consolidate all my shares under one registry for easier management? Is it easy to transfer from one to another?

    TIA

No - the company you have shares in picks the registry.

If the holdings are all under one HIN (number starts with X), the registries will usually let you create a portfolio of all holdings at that registry, so the notification process for TFN, tax status, DRP or dividend election etc is a bit easier.

Depending on the broker, some may provide some details to the registry at the time of purchase - but I have found you can't rely on that.
