Details are pretty loose. Link to more info: SelfWealth SMSF Leaders ETF (ASX:SELF)

I just hope they don’t move too far from their core job: providing me a cheap trading platform!

    Thoughts?

Any ETF that claims to outperform the market as their selling point is a red flag in my opinion

Are you confusing etf with index fund?

I am curious how SelfWealth will leverage the data from their platform to determine the holdings in their new ETF and outperform. From the language on their site, the holdings will reflect those owned by the top performing SMSF portfolios on SelfWealth.

This reminds me of the SW Top 10 Members target portfolio that you can set on their platform which rates your portfolio performance against performance of a portfolio of the top 20 stocks held by the top 10 performing members at SW (updated quarterly) refer attached.

If they're anything alike, it does not seem worthwhile to me, considering SW will put their own management fee on top. Will have to wait and see how it'll work.

Well, that is so stupid @ Redwing to base an ETF on some SMSFs. It is well known the cost of running an SMSF is hugely expensive and the Trustees are incompetent. At least that is what some industry superannuation funds would have us believe I have heard.

Apropos of nothing, I wonder who's going to end up with ASX code "WELF"?
