Asking for Contract of Sale

    Hey everyone,

    Long time reader, first time poster here. I have a simple question for more experienced property investors:

    Can I request a Contract of Sale before I have inspected a property?

    I have experienced some agents recently who will not send through a contract until an inspection is carried out. Quite annoying and I tend to not enjoy dealing with those agents.

    Start by sending an email enquiry on price (if auction) and for a contract of sale.

    It is quite common for contracts to be sent out to buyers prior to an inspection. I for one will ask for a contract if I am looking in an area not nearby.
