Asbestos in 1960's house

    I doubt you could see it or if it would be airborne with the weight of the glue but I've read to still not touch it. Their is some good information on asbestos searching through google.

    It would be cheaper to tile straight over it or put down floorboards if it contains asbestos.

    In the end, we had vinyl tiles which may or may not have been asbestos - the guy I got in to dispose of them wasn't sure but said vinyl tiles usually do. The glue was fine. The carpet underlay, which I didn't even consider at the time definitely was asbestos - I found this out after I ripped or all out. Whoops. Google says it's low risk though so that's good.
    All the flooring is out of the house now so i can relax - had a great time pulling everything out!

    It could be the start of something. .. :)
